Las enfermedades infecciosas constituyen una importante causa de la morbimortalidad en la mayor parte del planeta, dentro de ellas el Parasitismo Intestinal ocupa un lugar importante. Con el presente trabajo se pretende estudiar el comportamiento del Parasitismo Intestinal en el Consultorio Médico de la Familia (CMF) # 9 del área de Salud de Peréa. Se realizó un estudio de tipo descriptivo retrospectivo en el período de julio del 2001 a abril del 2002. Se estudiaron 30 pacientes del Consultorio a través de una encuesta, historias clínicas y análisis de laboratorio. Se analizaron una serie de variables como: Edad, sexo, manifestaciones clínicas mas frecuentes, los diferentes parásitos encontrados y factores predisponentes, asociados al parasitismo como: Si hervían el agua o no, deposición de excretas, uso del calzado, lavado de frutas y vegetales y la procedencia del agua de consumo. Demostrándose que el sexo más afectado es el femenino, que la edad de 0-10 años es del mayor parasitismo, que el factor predisponen asociado al parasitismo es el agua de pozo sin hervir y sin tratamiento, la deposición de excretas se realizaban de deferentes formas, que el síntoma clínico más frecuente es el dolor abdominal y el parásito de mayor frecuencia es la Giardia Lamblia. Infectious diseases are an important cause of morbimortality in most of the planet, among them intestinal parasitism occupies an important place. The present work has the purpose to study the status of intestinal parasitism in the Family Doctor’s Clinic (FDC) #9 of the health area of Peréa. A study of retrospective descriptive type was made in the period from July of 2001 to April of 2002. 30 patients of the Clinic were studied through a survey, clinical records and laboratory analyses. An analysis was made of a series of variables such as: age, sex, most common clinical manifestations, different parasites found and predisposing factors associated to parasitism such as: If they boiled water or not, deposition of excrement, use of footwear, washing of fruits and vegetables and the origin of drinking water. It was shown that the most affected sex is the female one, the age of 0-10 years is the one with the greatest parasitism, the predisposing factor associated to parasitism is unboiled and untreated well water, the deposition of excrement was done in different ways, the most frequent clinical symptom is abdominal pain and the most common parasite is Giardia Lamblia. |
