The supra norm expresses the preponderance of democracy in Ecuador, therefore, it is intrinsically related to the right of political participation to choose and be elected; Therefore, it is understood that the decision to choose representation lies with the people and participation as a candidate for this representation emerges in society. However, this legal argument, which has legal coverage, is constituted by the direct application of the law, the principle of which is restricted by article 112 of the same constitution by recognizing as political representation only political organizations, therefore, regulation Constitution that aims to protect the social order, limits the right to political participation, so it can be said that, in Ecuador, political participation is recognized, but it is not guaranteed autonomously and independently but rather guides citizens to adapt to the monopolies of political organizations.
