The Influence of dental crowding on the loss of the midline in adult patient of 19 years 8 months, it is good to consider the risks before having any work. In some patients, the length of the roots of the teeth may be decreased at the end of orthodontic treatment. Some patients are more likely to happen than others, generally the decrease in root length no consequence, but in a few cases could threaten the life of the teeth. When there is a history of problems in the tooth supporting tissues (bone and gum) health thereof may be affected during orthodontic treatment, as a rule the condition of the supporting tissues in patients with problems associated with misalignment of the teeth, tends to improve with orthodontic treatment, but is a prerequisite for this to happen the good oral hygiene of the patient. There is a tendency of the teeth to move position slightly after treatment ends, these changes are usually very small and are controlled with the use of retainers or containers for the time so by the orthodontist. Patients with problems in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is usually obtained improvement after orthodontic treatment to correct malocclusions, however, some discomfort in the TMJ may occur during any phase of treatment which may be represented by joint pain, earache or headache |
