Inside the endodontic treatment, the Chemical-Mechanical preparation , their main purpose is the cleaning, disinfection and conformation of the root canal system, in order to make their correct seal posible In this paper, a comparison was made of the manual technique and the rotating technique of the ProTaper system, In this research paper, a comparison of the manual technique and rotary technique of the ProTaper system was made , in order to determine the characteristics of both techniques , from the experience gained at the Integral Clinic of the Elderly of the Faculty of Dentistry and through information collected from scientific articles on the subject. A clinical case was made with the rotating technique of the ProTaper system , allowing to perceive, observe and compare the characteristics offered by both biomechanical preparation techniques , concluding that the rotating technique in terms of instrumentation time is lower compared to the manual technique , , on the other hand, the cost of manual files is lower than that of ProTaper files , and these in turn provided the root canal, greater conicity, allowing better irrigation and sealing of it |
