Resumen: |
Among all the biblical texts quoted in the Document of Aparecida, the passage of the Good Samaritan seems to be the most useful reading key for the entire Document. The Document itself talks about the ideal of a “Samaritan church” (n. 26) and, throughout the text, the passage is explicitly quoted several times, not to mention the many allusions. The disciple is invited to take the message of Salvation to humankind who lies along the roadside (n. 29). In this dynamics, one cannot ignore the sufferings of others, for this would cast doubt on his condition of authentic follower of Christ (n. 358). The Church, on her own structure, is reached by this calling, since the parish must be a good Samaritan as well (n. 176). From this presupposition, the presentation will be divided into two moments: at first, it will provide a comment to the Lucan text and, thereafter, standing the Document of Aparecida as background, it will bring about a dialogue between the evangelical passage and the theological and pastoral requests of the aforementioned Document. The Church, by the Document of Aparecida, intends to awaken new missionary disciples and finds out that the authentic discipleship goes through the dynamic of the Good Samaritan (n. 135 and n. 137), which is the paradigm of the Christian followership. |
