The objective of this case study is to analyze the work of the shadow teachers in the face of the inclusive needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), in the Educational Unit "Montessori" of the city of Guayaquil. Among the adaptations of teaching-learning practices, to support the inclusion of students with SEN, is the Master Shade that according to Rafael Bautista, is the person who provides professional attention to students with SEN who are in a classroom of basic education, so that in this way Master Shade becomes the initial link between the non-integrated student and the basic education teacher providing the necessary tools so that in the future the student can attend only one educational unit. However, the functions and activities of inclusion are developed by a teacher of basic education, who in some cases, lacks the necessary training and information and guidance or supervision of a specialist, as a consequence could be disadvantaging the integration of students with SEN In addition, in the same educational institution, Master Shadow's understanding and acceptance is distorted by being seen as a personalized "nanny". For this reason this study is chosen to determine the ideal profile to serve students with SEN through a proposal that consists of creating the profile of the shadow teacher. From direct observation, interviews and registration of the characteristics that describe this type of profile |
