The present systematization work contains the experience developed in the Educational Unit “Rafael Mendoza Avilés”, from July to August 2019, which was carried out by the students of the 8th Semester of the Faculty of Psychological Sciences of the University of Guayaquil. In order to obtain the information, activities were carried out with the teachers, where their criteria regarding disability were allowed to be known; the scale of attitudes towards disability was applied to teachers and in turn, workshops were given that implemented knowledge and skills that would serve to improve their teaching role. The Educational Institution has an inclusive approach and it is considered necessary that teachers are trained and motivated to give attention to students who present SEN. Finally, it was concluded that one of the factors that influenced teacher motivation, was the attitude they presented to their role, the vocation that led them to integrate new knowledge to help improve their praxis, and, above all, the desire to improve as a professional in the face of new challenges presented in education |
