Resumen: |
The aim of this article is to describe a model for the Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) which tries to represent its principles in a graphical and operative way. Such principles fits into the postmodern movement, although they also have their roots in Brief Therapy and in the systemic and constructivist approach as a theoretical framework. The model is built around the features of the SFT among which the dialogical interaction between therapist and client stands out as a key element for the success of the therapy. In addition, a hypothesis of relational adjustment between consultant and therapist is formulated based on the definition of the "problem-solution" continuum, which makes it possible to predict how this adjustment will affect the possible outcomes of the therapy. |
