Resumen: |
In the article we have discussed the declarations of Pope John Paul II on the link between the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary with precision. The manner in which John Paul II understood the presence of the Holy Spirit in the Virgin Mary is analyzed, with emphasis on the significance which the Pope gave to the Marian titles: «Sanctuary (temple) of the Holy Spirit», and «Spouse of the Holy Spirit». In this context we were particularly interested in the application of the Marian doctrine on the concept of spousehood as an important quality in the relation between the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit. The Marian reflection of the Pope took Mary as the living symbol of pneumatological fidelity. |
