Resumen: |
Two frequent readings of Plato's Ion are discussed in this paper. Firstly, the position which states that in this dialogue the pairing “inspiration and technê” refers to two different contents (e.g., an irrational psychological phenomenon, on the one hand, and a rational technical knowledge, on the other). Secondly, the thesis of the phenomenon of artistic creation being the referent of this pairing is advanced as well. In this framework, two recent views related to this issue (Büttner, 2011; Cappuccino, 2011 and 2005) are presented, and some of the results from these opinions are discussed. |
