Resumen: |
In the process of appropriation of physical spaces that all human groups exercise, a series of strategies to signify them unfold from the particular codes of each culture. This article analyzes this process taking as a reference two sectors of the migrant population settled in the vicinity of San Jose del Guaviare: one the one hand, Tucanos from Vaupes, and on the other colonists from different regions of the country. Both groups have given meaning to their new space, accentuated by different factors such as the impact of the every day life of the urban dynamic of San Jose. To interpret the vigorous way in wich the aforementioned communities have constituted their live territory, the article analyzes the metaphoric and metonymic notions elaborated by each group over their territory in the intercultural context of relations with the "other". |
