PDF La Artritis Reumatoide es con mucho la enfermedad reumatoide inflamatoria crónica más común en el mundo, es multifactorial, su diagnóstico y tratamiento precoz redunda directamente en la sobrevida de los pacientes, siendo así la adherencia al tratamiento evita múltiples complicaciones como la anquilosis en estos pacientes. Por tanto la presente investigación titulada: Artritis Reumatoide e inmovilidad por anquilosamiento de extremidades inferiores. Quito 2016 tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre Artritis Reumatoide e inmovilidad de miembros inferiores en el centro de atención y tratamientos médicos Quito desde Enero a Agosto 2016. Se utilizó el método descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal, el universo lo conformaron 38 pacientes atendidos en el Centro de diagnóstico y tratamiento con diagnóstico de Artritis Reumatoide. Para la recolección de los datos se utilizaron encuestas y la técnica fue a través de la entrevista y el análisis documental; el procesamiento de la información se realizó en el programa informático SPSS 22.0 por métodos estadísticos, las medida de resumen utilizada fue el porcentaje, las conclusiones a las que se llegó fue que la artritis reumatoide en la población de estudio fue más frecuente en mujeres, de instrucción, mestiza de la sexta y séptima década de la vida, además pude provocar anquilosis de miembros inferiores aunque no se encontró relación estadísticamente significativa debido al tamaño de la población de estudio. Rheumatoid arthritis is by far the most common chronic inflammatory rheumatoid disease in the world. It is multifactorial, its diagnosis and early treatment result directly in the survival of the patients, and thus adherence to treatment prevents multiple complications such as ankylosis in these patients. Therefore, the present research titled: Rheumatoid arthritis and immobility due to ankylosis of lower extremities. Quito 2016 aimed to determine the relationship between Rheumatoid Arthritis and immobility of lower limbs in the center of medical care and treatment Quito from January to August 2016. The cross-sectional correlational descriptive method was used, the universe was composed of 38 patients attended at the Diagnosis and Treatment Center with diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis. For the data collection, surveys were used and the technique was through interview and documentary analysis; The information processing was performed in the SPSS 22.0 software by statistical methods, the summary measure used was the percentage, the conclusions reached was that rheumatoid arthritis in the study population was more frequent in women, Instruction, mestiza of the sixth and seventh decade of life, and could provoke ankylosis of lower limbs although no statistically significant relationship was found due to the size of the study population.
