PDF Contexto: La conducta suicida en adolescentes es frecuente, va desde ideas y pensamientos hasta intentarlo y finalmente consumar el acto del suicidio. Las tasas de suicidio en adolescentes son preocupantes en el mundo y en nuestro país también. Se urge la necesidad de investigar este hecho a fondo, y prevenirlo oportunamente. Objetivo: Objetivo: FACTORES PSICOSOCIALES MAS FRECUENTES PRESENTES EN ADOLESCENTES CON IDEACION E INTENTO SUICIDA. ESTUDIO A REALIZAR EN ESTUDIANTES ADOLESCENTES DE 12-18 AÑOS EN INSTITUCIONES EDUCATIVAS DE GUAYAQUIL, PERIODO 2015-2016. Métodos: Es un estudio descriptivo, transversal, no experimental, en el cual se obtendrán los datos por medio de encuestas realizadas a 400 estudiantes adolescentes de dos instituciones educativas de Guayaquil. Resultados: Los factores psicosociales más frecuentes identificados fueron el estar expuesto al consumo de hache, el consumo de sustancias en la familia, el bajo rendimiento escolar y la pérdida o separación de un ser querido. Conclusiones: Se encontró un número considerable de estudiantes adolescentes que habían intentado suicidarse previamente. Es de primordial importancia trabajar sobre estos factores y potenciar el poder que pueda otorgar la Psicoeducación, el núcleo familiar y las actividades deportivas y sociales. STUDY TO BE CARRIED OUT IN TEENAGE STUDENTS IN 12-18 YEARS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS GUAYAQUIL, PERIOD 2015-2016. Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional, not experimental study, in which data will be collected through surveys of 400 adolescent students of two educational institutions of Guayaquil. Results: The most frequent psychosocial factors identified were being exposed hache consumption, substance abuse in the family, poor school performance and loss or separation from a loved one. Conclusions: A significant number of teenage students who had previously attempted suicide was found.
