The summary of this case is to compare what brightener material is more effective in clarifying color tones teeth, we have the Whitness Perfect 35% and Opalescense Boots 40%, both are based on Hydrogen Peroxide but the percentage as it can be seen varies. The patient was performed prior to clearance photographic analysis, model analysis and radiographic analysis, recording color of teeth with a colorimeter was taken before the application of lightener material. Clearance was it in a single patient, applied the material hemi arcades, on the left side the Whitness Perfect was applied to 35% and the right side of the Opalescense Boots 40% for 20 minutes both as specified in the manual instructive for both products, spent the 20 minutes, the brightener material was removed and proceeded to take the color registration by hemi arcade and there was no difference. After the patient doesn’t feel any discomfort and not have too sensitive, I decided to do another session following the above steps, recording the color, photos and leaving the material another 20 minutes, then take the color registration, but neither he saw a significant difference leading to the conclusion that the percent of Hydrogen Peroxide is irrelevant referring to dental clearances in dentistry. It should be noted that the Whiteness Perfect is first applied it to the Opalescense Boots with a difference of 2 minutes hemi arcades.
