Once we have obtained excellent access to the pulp chamber, a very important step is to obtain a working length that is accurate, because the success of the conduit treatment will depend on this. The purpose of this study is to establish the most appropriate method to determine the length of work in endodontics. To achieve the objective set, studies were carried out in 20 specimens, which were studied in a very thorough way by applying each of the known methods: Ingle, Paiva and Antoniazzi and electronic apical localizers. The results obtained were acceptable and reliable, focused on the fact that the best method to apply in this type of treatment is the electronic apical localizer, because it obtained a considerable percentage of accuracy. All the above leads us to an exact conclusion, that the best treatments in endodontics are those in which the electronic apical locator is applied for its effectiveness, also because the existing agreement between the present study and the one made by other specialists is extremely important. Similary. This does not mean that we must leave aside the consideration of the important aspects before starting the treatment and also verify the work that was done to see if it meets the objective set by the specialist and in this way be able to satisfy the need of the patient. |
