La investigación se lo realizó en el Hospital Verdi Cevallos Balda de Portoviejo, en el área cirugía en paciente sometido al proceso de colecistectomías laparoscópicas, donde los resultados en el periodo de mayo del 2014 a marzo del 2015, mostraron que el 66,64 correspondió al género femenino que predominó sobre el masculino, donde la edad que más prevalente estuvo entre los 31 a 40 años y se determinó que 53,33% provinieron del sector urbano marginal, siendo los afectados las amas de casa acorde a su nivel ocupacional y que el 66,66% de las personas fueron de condición social baja y el 33,34% media, donde los pacientes reportaron un estado nutricional con sobrepeso y normal con el 60% y 40% en su respectivo orden. También se observó que el 66,66% de los casos fue en mujeres y el 33,34% en hombres donde el 52% no presentaron ningún antecedente patológico. Sin embargo entre las más frecuentes se identificó a la hipertensión arterial y diabetes con el 20,66% y 14,66% de los casos registrados. Entre los síntomas más frecuente el 59,34% la náusea y el vómito estuvieron presentes en relación al 40,66% que reportaron lo contrario, el mismo que estuvo relacionado con la escala -6 que expresa dolor moderado y 7-9 como dolor intenso y se estableció que el 86,67 presentaron complicaciones antes de las 24 horas y presentaron fiebre normal

It was also observed that 66,66% of the cases was in women and 33,34% in men where 52% didn't present any pathological antecedent. However among the most frequent it was identified to the arterial hypertension and diabetes with 20,66% and 14,66% of the registered cases. Among the most frequent symptoms 59,34% the nausea and the vomit were present in relation to 40,66% that reported the opposite, the same one that was related with the scale -6 that it expresses moderate pain and 7-9 as intense pain and he/she settled down that the 86,67 presented complications before the 24 hours and they presented normal fever
