PDF En el proceso investigativo realizado nuestro problema principal fue el analizar a fondo las causas para la aparición de dos patologías que son el tumor odontogenicoadenomatoide y el quiste dentígero, y encontrar el camino hacia su prevención; luego de haber analizado el proceso investigativo realizado mediante una metodología analítica y sintética hemos podido determinar que existe una relación directa entre la retención de caninos y la aparición tanto del tumor odontogenicoadenomatoide como del quiste dentígero, esto se pudo determinar luego del análisis de diferentes textos, archivos, revistas y blogs de varios autores especializados en la cirugía oral y cirugía maxilofacial. El principal objetivo de este proceso investigativo era determinar la relación existente entre la retención de los caninos y dos patologías que tienen características similares entre sí, con la finalidad de aportar a la base científica con un trabajo investigativo que sirva de guía y base teórica a un profesional de la salud bucal, después de realizar este proceso metodológico y científico, podemos mencionar que los caninos retenidos son un tema muy importante en la odontología ya que sin este grupo dentario la armonía facial se pierde, las funciones estéticas, masticatorias y estomatognaticas en general se encontraran alteradas; dicho esto el desarrollo del presente trabajo investigativo es de explicita importancia, porque nos ayudara a evitar la aparición de las dos principales patologías estudiadas en este tema y pone sin lugar a dudas a los lectores sobre alerta para considerar el tratamiento de la retención de los caninos, un objetivo primordial para cuidar la salud bucal de un paciente. Se hizo evidente en la investigación realizada que la retención de los caninos puede presentar patologías adicionales si no es tratada a tiempo entre las que aparecen el tumor odontogenoadenomatoide y el quiste dentígero. In the research process we made our main problem was the analysis of the causes for the appearance of two diseases that are odontogenicoadenomatoide Dentigerous tumor and cyst, and find the way to prevention; After reviewing the investigative process conducted by an analytical and synthetic methodology we have been able to determine that there is a direct relationship between the retention of canines and the appearance of both the odontogenicoadenomatoide tumor and the dentigerous cyst, this might then determine the analysis of different texts, files, magazines and blogs of various authors specialized in oral surgery and maxillofacial surgery. The main objective of this research process was to determine the relationship between the retention of canines and two diseases that have similar characteristics to each other, in order to provide the scientific basis with a research project to guide and a theoretical basis professional oral health, after making this methodological and scientific process, we can mention that the retained canines are very important in dentistry topic because without this dental group facial harmony is lost, aesthetic functions, chewing and Stomatognathic general They are found altered; said that the development of this research work is of explicit importance, because it will help prevent the emergence of two major diseases studied in this subject and put beyond doubt on alert readers to consider the treatment of canine retention , a key to oral health care for a patient goal.
