Down syndrome is a group of phenotypic manifestations that are related to changes in chromosome 21, especially the excess of genetic material in the distal part of the long arm of the chromosome. They are children in the process of growth, like children of other ages, they have interests, needs and desires. Organic dyslalia has brought difficulties in the field of language, especially in terms of performance, and there has been a greater delay in the field of language in these children. Communication and language must have linguistic communication, not only words produced by the movement of pronunciation, but also complex and functional human activities. You must know the stage of evolution and the time of language acquisition. Every child is different and their acquisition rates and needs are also different. For this, a field investigation was carried out in the foundation "Give me an opportunity", in the city of Guayaquil, where with a population of 10 children with Down Syndrome who present organic dyslalias between 3 to 6 years old, they were carried out evaluations, and the Plon - R test, which allowed us to know about their orofacial dysfunctions, in addition, a survey was carried out to parents about their opinion about language therapies, the importance they have in the development of oral language in their children . Once the results were obtained, an activity guide was developed to help strengthen speech and language development in children, these activities were carried out in two modes, online and in person, evidencing the need for new techniques for strengthening and development of language.
