El presente estudio fue realizado en el Hospital Especializado Mariana de Jesús en el periodo 2014-2015, en el cual se incluyeron a todas las pacientes con diagnóstico de ingreso de hemorragia uterina durante el parto y postparto posteriormente confirmado de acretismo placentario. La información se obtuvo mediante una fuente indirecta, analizando las historias clínicas de las pacientes y datos estadísticos del Hospital. OBJETIVO: Determinar el perfil clínico, clasificación y factores de riesgos involucrados en la morbilidad y mortalidad materno - fetal asociada al acretismo placentario como causa de las hemorragias uterinas durante el segundo y tercer trimestre de gestación en pacientes ingresadas en el Hospital Especializado Mariana de Jesús durante el periodo 2014-2015. RESULTADOS: La morbilidad materna perinatal se encontró en el 0.55% de las pacientes que presentaron hemorragias uterinas; no encontrando ningún caso de mortalidad materna. Los principales signos y síntomas al ingreso hospitalario fueron: sangrado vía vaginal y sensibilidad uterina. La edad más frecuente se encuentra entre 30-40 años (58%) con un promedio de edad de 34 años, siendo el valor máximo 41 años y el valor mínimo de 15 años. La paridad es del 9% que corresponde a las primigestas, 62% correspondiendo a las multíparas y 29% a las gran multíparas. This study was conducted in the Mariana Specialized Hospital of Jesus in the 2014-2015 period, in which all patients were included with admission diagnosis of uterine bleeding during childbirth and postpartum subsequently confirmed accretism. The information was obtained through an indirect source, analyzing the medical records of patients and statistical data Hospital. OBJECTIVE: To determine the clinical profile, classification and risk factors involved in morbidity and maternal mortality - fetal associated accretism as a cause of uterine bleeding during the second and third trimester of pregnancy in patients admitted in the Mariana Specialized Hospital of Jesus during 2014-2015 period. RESULTS: The perinatal maternal morbidity was found in 0.3% of patients who had uterine bleeding; finding no case of maternal mortality. The main signs and symptoms to hospital admission were: bleeding vaginally and uterine tenderness. The most common age is between 30-40 years (58%) with an average age of 34 years, with 41 years the maximum value and the minimum value of 15 years.
