PDF El presente trabajo de investigación tiene el objetivo de obtener con certeza y claridad despejando todo tipo de dudas que a los estudiantes de la facultad de odontología nos enfrentamos al tratar a una mujer embarazada en nuestras clínicas. Empezaremos haciendo un énfasis el que la conservación del bienestar del binomio madre-feto, durante el período reproductivo, es el objetivo primordial del equipo de salud perinatal. Tradicionalmente, los Odontólogos han ofrecido las opciones conservadoras del tratamiento a las mujeres embarazadas. Actualmente, esto ha cambiado, pudiéndose administrar, de ser necesario, fármacos que permitan la anestesia local, atribuyéndose pocos efectos colaterales y manteniéndose cuidados especiales durante los procedimientos. Sin embargo, la mayoría de los Obstetras y Odontólogos prefieren que el tratamiento dental se realice durante el segundo trimestre, manteniéndose al mínimo durante los otros períodos de la gestación. La mayoría de los Obstetras y Odontólogos, prefieren que el tratamiento dental sea realizado durante el segundo trimestre del embarazo, si es posible. Manteniéndose al mínimo dichos procedimientos durante el primer y tercer trimestre de la gestación. Se debe evitar la práctica de procedimientos dentales en el primer trimestre del embarazo, ya que es el período de la organogénesis, y aunque el tratamiento dental no puede necesariamente dañar estos órganos, se deben disminuir al mínimo los riesgos potenciales. Existen estudios donde se analizan la exposición a anestésicos locales en la embarazada, y no se han encontrado una mayor incidencia de malformaciones congénitas. El presente estudio utiliza métodos bibliográficos, inductivos, deductivos, documental. This research aims to obtain certainty and clarity clearing any doubts that students dental school faced to treat a woman Pregnant in our clinics. We begin with the emphasis on the conservation of welfare mother- fetus pair, during the breeding season , it is the aim primary perinatal health team . Traditionally, Dentists have offered conservative treatment options to pregnant women. Today, this has changed , and can be administer , if necessary , drugs which allow local anesthesia , attributed few side effects and maintaining care special during procedures. However, most Obstetricians and dentists prefer dental treatment is performed during the second quarter , kept to a minimum during the other gestation periods . Most Obstetricians and Dentists prefer to treat dental can be done during the second trimester of pregnancy , if possible . Kept to a minimum during these procedures first and third trimester . Avoid the practice of dental procedures in the first trimester of pregnancy, as it is the period of organogenesis , and although the dental treatment can not necessarily damaging these bodies should be reduced to the minimum potential risks. there studies where exposure to local anesthetics are discussed in pregnant, and have not found a higher incidence of congenital malformations.
