The main purpose of the present title work is to establish, through a descriptive and analytical methodology, the prevalence of patients who undergo dialysis due to obstructive nephropathy, located at the Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón specialty hospital during the years 2015-2017. Among the specific objectives that will be developed in the theoretical framework are the analysis of the consequences of not treating early obstructive nephropathy, and the different causes such as ARF (acute renal failure) and CKD (chronic kidney disease) that originates in patients who have dialysis as a treatment. Chapter I considers the development of the problem approach, objectives (general and specific), justification, research questions, delimitation of the problem, hypothesis and variables; chapter II, theoretical framework in which we will highlight the object of the study, research field and research references (comparing other explorations carried out both nationally and internationally), among other topics that can be rescued in research; Chapter III includes the analysis of the results, as well as the methodology to be used, the universe and the sample; viability of the titling work, operability of the variables, chapter IV will be discussed the results generated from chapter III; and finally chapter V through the conclusion will establish the most relevant points of the investigation and the recommendation is addressed to future researchers and specialized doctors.
