The sample was comprised of 67 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, based on the observation of clinical records. Information is the entry into a database using SPSS 23.0 program where tables and graphs of different variables using percentages, mean, standard deviation and correlation for ordinal variables the chi square were performed. Results: The clinical records of 67 patients were evaluated with diagnostic Slipped upper femoral epiphysis, of which the most common is the male gender with 77.6% of women compared with 22.4%; in terms of age the most common age is 12 years, with an average of 12.60 years with a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 16 years, the most common range is 11-13 years with 55.2% followed by range 14-16 years with 32.8% and the range of 8-10 years with 11.9%; 100% of patients 58.2% had antecedent overweight, followed with 31.3% obese and 10.4% of patients with BMI within the normal range; we can see that the patients had an acute presentation in 19.4% of cases and 80.6% of chronic presentation, reflecting us that the greatest diagnosis was chronic presentation which represents the late diagnosis of 80.6%; of those treated patients had 100% of symptoms of pain and claudication, as to the causal mechanism 52.2% reported a history of trauma to the affected area and 47.8% reported no history of trauma, it was revised to 50.7% of patients treated report having had a visit to the general practitioner and 49.3% said not refer history; according to the classification of the degree of displacement 74.6% had a mild degree of displacement, followed with 20.9% with moderate and severe finally a 4.5% degree of displacement. Of the patients there take into account that in the diagnosis of Late (80.6) 55.6% was treated by a general practitioner and 44.4% did not care (Table 3), of this 55.6% (30 patients) only 33.3 % (10 patients) underwent radiography by a history of trauma and given as an analgesic treatment (table 6, table 7, table 4); while 66.7% (20 patients) go unnoticed without a history of trauma without radiography are given analgesia by the presence of pain therefore 55.6% of patients with late diagnosis were not referred to a health center more complex (table 5); In addition 44.4% (24 patients) of patients with late diagnosis did not approach a medical professional for guidance diagnosed, and 66.7% (16 patients) have a history of self-medicate with analgesics.
