The drinking water distribution network of the Shoenstatt-Guayaquil Shrine has supply problems due to the large number of visitors who visit it. During the programs that are carried out, people who demand a good supply of drinking water congregate, which the current drinking water system does not supply. This project consists of the analysis of the distribution network of drinking water, to propose a satisfactory solution to the problem it has. For this, simulations were carried out to determine the details of the problem, taking into account the maximum number of people attending, the total area, topography; A total of 10,000 people were considered. Through the simulations it was possible to observe, what are the shortcomings of the current network; as, the pipe diameters, their pressures and speeds. Once the inefficiencies were detected, a technical solution was proposed by carrying out the new simulations with their respective corrections for the improvement of the Sanctuary's drinking water system, adding a valve plan and a fire system. This project does not generate negative impacts so it will not affect its flora and fauna of the sector. |
