La producción de sombrero de paja toquilla es un arte ecuatoriano, y se baja en el tjido manual que se realiza, el cual lleva dias, incluso meses en terminarlo, se estudió todo el proceso industrial del producto, el cual no tiene una mayor demanda nacional, sin embargo, es altamente demandado en el mercado internacional. El presente proyecto de investigación busca desarrollar estrategias para la comercialización de sombreros de paja toquilla, el estudio se enfocó en los tejedores de la provincia del Guayas, los mismos que poseen conocimientos limitados de administración y gestión organizacional, logística exportable, entre otros. La metodología aplicada fue netamente de campo, con observación científica y gracias a la encuesta realizada a los tejedores de sombreros de paja toquilla se pudo determinar que el 49% de los encuestados se encuentra satisfecho con su labor, sin embargo el 60% de los tejedores encuestados afirma que rara vez reciben capacitaciones y el 50% de la muestra tomada afirmó que rara vez es reconocido el trabajo del artesano y el 57% de los tejedores señala muy importante el estímulo al crédito por parte del Estado ecuatoriano, con esto se diseñaron estrategias de comercialización de sombreros de paja toquilla en la provincia del Guayas, llegando a la conclusión que es de vital importancia aplicarlas para estimular el comercio y dejar de depender del pettróleo crudo y sus derivados.
The production of toquilla straw hat is an Ecuadorian art, and is low in the manual weaving that is carried out, which takes days, even months to finish it, the whole industrial process of the product was studied, which does not have a greater national demand However, it is highly demanded in the international market. This research project seeks to develop strategies for the marketing of straw hats, the study focused on the weavers of the province of Guayas, who have limited knowledge of administration and organizational management, export logistics, among others. The methodology applied was purely of field, with scientific observation and thanks to the survey made to the weavers of toquilla straw hats it was possible to determine that 49% of the respondents are satisfied with their work, however 60% of the weavers respondents affirmed that rarely receive training and 50% of the sample taken affirmed that the artisan's work is rarely recognized and 57% of the weavers indicate very important the stimulus to the credit by the Ecuadorian State, with this strategies were designed of commercialization of toquilla straw hats in the province of Guayas, reaching the conclusion that it is of vital importance to apply them to stimulate trade and stop relying on crude oil and its derivatives.
