Taking some assumptions of the Postcolonial Studies as starting points, we propose to denounce the technical and commercial strategies developed by powerful consortia of companies and states coming from an English-speaking and Northern axis. Our aim is to point out that another kind of innovation in possible, based on users and social priorities, for Digital Humanities too.
