The presence of a good number of anthroponyms is probably the most striking feature of the texts written on blackboard. To the more than remarkable quantity we have to add its great variety and its diverse origin. It is immediately apparent that there are two large groups that can be established: Germanic and Latin. Beside them, some of Greek and other Hebrew origin, transmitted through the receiving language. There are, finally, others whose origin and significance we do not know, or are very obscure. (...) La presencia de una buena cantidad de antropónimos es, probablemente, el rasgo más llamativo de los textos escritos en pizarra. A la cantidad más que notable hemos de añadir su gran variedad y su diversa procedencia. Enseguida se percibe que son dos los grandes grupos que pueden establecerse: germánicos y latinos. Al lado de ellos, algunos de origen griego y otros hebreos, transmitidos a través de la lengua receptora. Hay, finalmente, otros cuya procedencia y significación desconocemos, o resultan muy oscuras.
