Resumen: |
Aristotle's Poetics is much more than a literary preceptive and much more than a treatise on Greek tragedy. The author believes that a great part of its message is lost if it is not seen from a broader perspective: that of art as a creative and infinite principle which exists in the mind of men. In this respect Aristotle was a major innovator: he considers poetry as the foundation and cause rather than a copy of reality, and therefore frees it from ethical considerations. No disponible. |
