Resumen: |
In this brief paper, it is proposed that the dental element traditionally reconstructed in the ablative singular function of Indo-European o-stems derives ultimately from a deictic particle in *-dh, which developed unaspirated sandhi variants that became subject to generalization in the early dialectal period. Central to this conclusion is the existence of the Greek adverbial suffix -then. No disponible. |
